The next bill would amend the pawnbroker's law to include "Cash Convertors" in our law (GS 91-A) and make them accountable to the same record keeping and reporting standard as a pawnshop.  We are posting this to keep you aware of it and to let you know that we are monitoring it.  This is not an endorsement (at this time) of this proposed bill.  It has yet to be determined if they should be addressed in our law or have one of their own.
